If you are just starting out or are strapped for cash we’ve put together a low-cost, low-risk, self-funding plan for you to follow.
Step 1) requires just an initial investment of $47 to $97, have very low or no monthly costs and after those costs the rest becomes self-funding.
We recommend you find a low-cost, low-risk, self-funding systems to start with and use it to generate at least $300 cash that you can reinvest into buying one of the systems recommended in step 2 – note the systems in step 2 could be considered self-funding, but will require you to buy ongoing advertising which is why I recommend you accumulate at least $300 first.
Again, The systems in Step 1) require only an initial investment-time fee of between $47 to $97 and very low or no monthly costs.
So the idea is that you DO NOT spend any money in addition to the initial money you spend in step 1 until you’ve generated at least $300 from one of the systems in step 1.
And do not try to start with more than one system.
Step 1 includes the systems listed here:
Step 1)
a) Niche Blitzkrieg (available internationally)
Michael Brown created the Niche Blitzkrieg system to help newbies easily generate multiple streams of income in a systematic way. It’s also now #1 in the list of top ten home-based businesses.
Niche Blitzkrieg is ranked #1 for these reasons:
1. It’s easy to build multiple streams of income fast.
2. Your new income streams are for the most part “set and forget” type income streams
3. It is a safe way to have several sites fast and easy and make great money.
4. It is Completely Newbie-Friendly and assumes NO prior online marketing experience at all. There is a forum for each step of the system where you can ask questions. Michael answers the questions once a day
5. Costs under $10/month to keep multiple streams of income going.
6. You will be able to BUILD on the skills you learn to develop OTHER types of streams of income online.

b) MegaClassified Millions (Available Internationally)
MegaClassified Millions Beginner’s Affiliate Marketing System.
This system is designed for a novice affiliate marketing person. In other words, it had to be right for someone who knows nothing about marketing online. However, most people will be better of starting with Niche Blitkzrieg.
Step 2) Pay per click training
Pay per click training is important for serious online entrepreneurs, because pay per click allows you to test things quickly. But I suggest you build up funds from step 1 first (at least $300).
a) Matthew Levenhagen’s Campaign Blasts Method
But I do NOT think you should invest in Campaign Blasts until you have that money as you have to buy advertising, unless you already have online marketing experience and at least $200 to $300 you’re willing to invest in your initial advertising.
b) Adwords Miracle
If you already have marketing experience and can build websites, you could also consider Adwords Miracle, although we still recommend Campaign Blasts over Adwords Miracle as we find Campaign Blasts to be much more systematic and organized.
The Adwords Miracle review is here:
The reasons we’ve included Campaign Blasts and Adwords Miracle in step 2 are:
a) They are both low-risk Pay Per Click systems that have the potential to help you earn significant income.
b) Learning Pay Per Click advertising will give you a HUGE edge when using any other type of advertising because you can collect accurate information about markets quickly.
c) They will both work internationally.

Step 3)
At this point you should have gained enough experience to be able to filter out most of the B.S. you are subjected to when it comes to business products.
When you’ve made it to this step, you can email us via the feedback forms found throughout the WorkAtHomeTruth site for suggestions or our opinion of businesses you are considering. However, we will confirm that you’ve done these steps – at least step 2, but hopefully both step 1 & step 2.
Sorry I didn’t see your question sooner. Go to http://www.ripoffreport.com for reviews of dish. Not good. Careerbuilder doesn’t filter their “employers” so don’t consider them a reliable source (www.ivetriedthat.com)
Paul,
I have been trying to start an online business but here’s my problem: How can you get training(from NicheBlitzkrieg, e.g.) without a credit card? I’ve defaulted on my cards so I don’t have that option. I really don’t want to use a debit card, either, for obvious reasons. Will any of these entities accept checks? You should write something concerning this, as I’m sure there are many people who have the same problem(record number of credit card defaults). Thank you for your site and the work you put into it.
David: That’s true, David. I think this is going to get to be a bigger problem in 2010.
However, the question about eChecks is a good one and one that is going to require some additional research on my part.
I remember one vendor who stopped taking eChecks because he was hit with frequent fraud – although I would think he would have similar problems with credit cards.
About Davids Question on not having a credit card. You can always buy a Visa and charge it just enough for what you need to be taken out. This also stop scammers from’stealing’ money from your account. Good work Paul. Keep itup
Thanks Fred. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that.
He’s right, David. You can buy them from places like QuikTrip, 7-11, etc. and a lot of other places.
Also, any new feedback about Bootstrapping Your Business?
Any feedback recently about Jim Cockrum’s silentsalesmachine.com?

Hi Paul,
I am a newbie and I have just stumbled onto your site. Very interesting. I’m not sure if you have it posted or not, but do you get an affiliate fee for these products that you suggest for people? Just wondering if there is a financial motivation on your part to push one program over another (not that that is always a bad thing).
And don’t worry, typos don’t scare me
Hi David,
You may or may not have noticed that you are in the “Store” section of WorkAtHomeTruth. The reason we put products we recommend in the store is because we are selling the products. There are a lot of products not in the store that we could make a lot more money selling, but they are garbage.
And when I say that I can technically prove something is questionable I mean it. You can see an example of that here:
MyProfitSite QuickShot Review
You can see more in this list here:
Sales Page Reviews
If it was all about making money I’d be selling deceptive hidden negative option products.
Instead, I actually helped the FTC document this case:
Federal Trade Commission v. In Deep Services, Inc and prepared a signed affidavit with the help of a Senior Litigator at the FTC in order to help them proceed with taking the necessary steps towards filing their injunction.
Yours is an interesting question because I thought making the material connection by putting products in an actual store section would help answer this kind of question, but you’re right that if it would be possible to just push products that more money. I don’t that and just don’t have it in me to do that sort of thing.
I did notice you weren’t being taken to the store at the end so I fixed that.
Our goal is and has always been to find the products that work well for a person based on their experience level.
Hello Paul,
I was researching some HYIP program and landed at your blog and found great info about that HYIP and I am not going to involve anymore. Thank you. I was curious and started looking at your website and it is great info. Finally there is someone who is out there giving truthful info about home based businesses and work at home jobs! Good work Sir.
My questions to you are:
1. Are the top 10 home businesses still valid and in the same order, especially the first 5?
2. I was reading this bootstrapping at your store and in step 1 c) you suggest the kindle profits exposed, but not in the top 10 businesses, any reasons? Also, you say that Nichje is better, what is Nichje, I can’t find any info on that?
3. If still the top 2 are Niche Blitzkrieg and Emergency Cash generators, which would be a better choice for a newbie internet marketer?
4. If kindle profits is still good, is it better than Niche Blitzkrieg and Emergency Cash Generators or not?
That’s all. Looking forward to learning.
Much obliged,
Isa.
Isa.
M.O.L.B. actually should be off the list. And B.A.N.S. is being re-evaluated.
One thing about top the top 10 list is that it is based on the overall demographics of the site. The following should give you a good idea of what Niche Blitzkrieg is all about:
Be Where The Money Is
There are MANY good courses that cover that type of material. I happen to like Niche Blitzkrieg because you get full access to an active support forum for a fairly low one-time fee. Most other similar training I’ve seen chages a monthly fee.
I would favor Niche Blitzkrieg over Emergency Cash Generators for the Newbie because you will be learning fundamental principles that apply to almost any system or technique you learn in the future. Emergency Cash Generators is more of a “Hodge-Podge” but good for someone who wants to see ideas outside of the traditional “online marketing” training.
Thank you Shawn for your answer, but I still have unanswered questions:
2. I was reading this bootstrapping at your store and in step 1 c) you suggest the kindle profits exposed, but not in the top 10 businesses, any reasons? Also, you say that Nichje is better, what is Nichje, I can’t find any info on that?
4. If kindle profits is still good, is it better than Niche Blitzkrieg and Emergency Cash Generators or not?
Much obliged,
Isa.
Isa: That was me actually (Paul).
There are so many products that could go on a top 10 list. I wouldn’t put Kindle above Niche Blitzkrieg – but I would certainly put it above M.O.L.B. or B.A.N.S. for somebody new to online businesses.
Hello Paul,
I thought I saw the name Shawn…may be I was not paying attention, sorry.
Thank you for your response. I was debating whether to buy NB or MCM of Michael Brown OR ECG OR Kindle Profits Exposed.
If I go with NB, I have to buy it only without Niche Research Commando (As I have only Apple (Mac) computer not Windows…I hope there was one for MAC!). That’s okay, I will hopefully learn to do what NRC does manually…
Much obliged,
Isa.
Hi Isa,
I use both Macs & PCs. Niche Research Commando won’t work on the Mac. In fact unfortunately, the only keyword research tool I know that works well for the Mac on the lower end of the price spectrum is a program called Market Samurai.
You can do the research manually however. It just takes longer.
One tip on that program if you decide to pursue Market Samurai – it says it costs $167. But if you get on their eamil list and wait a few days they drop the price down to $97.00. At least that’s what they’ve done in the past.
HELLO,whats the best for pet website newbee i mean newbee?
and are those kind of sites rewarding?
I have a different idea for one, all ages, entertainment, knowledge etc
I asked you about S.B.I would you still recomend it?
thank you
@Jay: It sounds like your talking about a decent size site so I would say that SBI would still be great for that.
There’s no doubt that there is a lot of money flowing in the pet marketplace – but with any marketplace you will still have to do market analysis and competitive research to identify specific niches within the marketplace – or new ways to approach the marketplace.
The SBI system will guide you through all of that and provides the tools and the training you need to finish the research.
Thank you Paul, I will try Market Samurai.
THANK YOU PAUL
